Fouta Towel Hammamet bi-color Turquin & Pink is a fouta model created in 1962 by artisans of the Arab medina of Hammamet in Tunisia. Woven entirely by hand on an old wooden loom and the fringes are hand-knotted by the wives of the master weavers. The Fouta Towel Hammamet bi-color is lighter than a classic fouta, but thicker than a veil sarong.It sponges up water well and dries quickly. The fouta was initially used as a bath and hammam towel, today it is as a beach towel, tablecloth or sofa and bed throw.
